Suzanne Williams has worked with Virginia Health Services, Inc. for over 20 years. Suzanne is the Administrator of York Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center and The Hamilton Assisted Living. She has worked in Long Term Care for 25 years and is passionate about caring for our aging. In her spare time, Suzanne enjoys time with her daughter and family, traveling in and out of the country, kayaking and photography. Suzanne leads with the philosophy of treating every resident and staff member as family. It’s so important to offer a nurturing environment for all.
Katherine Lenz | Assistant Administrator of York Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center and Manager of The Hamilton Assisted Living
Kate is the Assistant Administrator of York Convalescent & Rehabilitation Center and Manager of The Hamilton Assisted Living Facility. She has worked in several different capacities with VHS before being promoted to her current position and recently completed the Administrator in Training program to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Kate graduated from Christopher Newport University with a B.S. in Business Administration, Management concentration. She is a member of the American Women’s Business Association and fundraises annually for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. In her spare time, Kate enjoys family vacations in the Outer Banks and spending time with her two dogs. Caring for the elderly is Kate’s passion and she was inspired by her grandfather to pursue this career. Kate believes that through the continuity of care VHS provides, residents receive the quality care they all deserve.

A resident’s potential to benefit from rehabilitation services is the primary criteria used when determining admission to York Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center. Services are covered by most insurance carriers including Medicare, Medicaid, Anthem and many others. We will verify insurance benefits and pre-certify admissions prior to actual admission.
Patients are accepted on a referral basis for rehabilitation. Physicians, social workers, discharge planners, family members, or potential residents can refer individuals to our facility.
The Administrator, Suzanne Williams (757-898-1491) will schedule an assessment that may be conducted at the facility, hospital, patient’s home or wherever is most convenient.
