Don is responsible for all operations of the nursing homes, assisted living, and independent living facilities. He has served as an Administrator and Regional Director of Operations for over 30 years with national providers such as Marriott Senior Living Services, Sunrise Senior Living and Five Star Quality Care. Most recently, Don worked with Riverside Health System in their Lifelong Health Division. Don has served on various boards for long-term care providers in Michigan and Virginia, and has received several awards for quality. Don graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Arts degree and The George Washington University with a Master’s of Health Care Administration. He completed his administrative residency at The George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Don is married and enjoys spending time with his family, especially his four grandchildren. One of Don’s favorite quotes is from J. Willard Marriott: “Motivate them, train them, care about them, and make winners out of them … they’ll treat the customers right. And if the customers are treated right, they’ll come back.” Don is excited and proud to serve with so many caring people in this industry. Working in this business is a calling for him. He often says he is blessed to be a blessing to others.
