Seven VHS apprentices graduate to Nurse Aides in November cohort
Seven Virginia Health Services apprentice program students graduated from Care Assistants to Nurse Aides during a ceremony Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at the EEE Center
Jesse joined Virginia Health Services in 2002 to manage the construction and opening of The Arbors independent living community. His responsibilities have included the operation of The Arbors along with planning and development of VHS renovations and new construction. Before joining VHS, Jesse spent eight years at Kingsmill Resort managing homeowner associations, condominiums, resort memberships, and the planning, design and construction of resort amenities. Jesse graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Environmental Design/Architecture. (Go Pack!) He has been active as a member and office holder in organizations including American Hotel & Lodging Association, Condominium Resort Association, Virginia Hospitality & Travel Association, Williamsburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Williamsburg Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Williamsburg Architectural Review Board, Williamsburg Planning Commission, Port Warwick Foundation, Port Warwick Conservancy, and Turner Condominium Association. When not at work, you will find Jesse and his wife, Laura, spending time with their children and grandchildren. Jesse is driven by the goal to make the healthcare environment a better place for the VHS team to excel at the multiple services offered to our communities.
