June currently provides oversight for The Newport as well as VHS assisted living division. Her experience with VHS spans over 25 years and has held various positions within the organization. June was exposed to the business world at an early age as her parents owned and operated a mom and pop business on the peninsula for over 40 years. Her prior work experience was in the family business as well as a recruiting firm. June attended Thomas Nelson Community College and Old Dominion University with a focus on Business Administration and Gerontology. She has been involved in community organizations such as Peninsula Fine Arts Center, the Junior League of Hampton Roads and Impact 100. June enjoys spending time with her family and loves to be surrounded by water views. She believes in caring for her community as if they were family which led her to this field and in becoming a licensed administrator.
