Stephen Berczek

Stephen Berczek | Administrator

Stephen supervises and coordinates the operations departments at The Newport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and The Huntington Assisted Living, and ensures the facility is complying with state and federal regulatory requirements. He recently graduated from Marymount University, earning a BS Health Sciences while being a part of the baseball program. Stephen became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in January 2021. In his spare time, he enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and restoring/riding motorcycles. Giving back to those who have built the community that we live in is what inspires him. Seeing residents comfortable and living their best life motivates Stephen to do his best. He strives to ensure his Team is successful.

Toshua Cutler, RN, BSN | Director of Nursing

Toshua oversees the nursing team at The Newport Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and The Huntington Assisted Living.  Toshua has been with VHS for over 18 years. Her roles have included Resident Assessment Coordinator (MDS), supervisor, charge nurse and floor nurse. Prior to joining VHS, Toshua worked as an LPN at another long-term care facility. She graduated with her associate’s (ADN) in nursing from ECPI University and decided to further her education and graduated with her BSN in nursing from ECPI. In her spare time, she loves to travel, shop, and enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, who brings great joy to her life. Toshua has learned that in life, anything worth having is worth working for, which is what motivated her to go back to school and to strive toward better opportunities within the company.
